Eye ‘Cat’ching

You can be silent and yet be heard. You can hang in the background and yet draw attention.

The glassy shiny eyes of a cat are fascinating to look at and enjoyable to paint with acrylics. Paint them too slow, and you will not be able to get that smooth blend. Paint it too fast, and you will not be able to capture the details.
I tried this painting on a small 12X12 canvas board to challenge myself even further. I realised that you don’t need to paint a ferocious tiger on a huge canvas to feel proud. Painting a soft little kitty on a small canvas can make you just as happy.
