Who would you rather be? A powerful but feared person or a gentle but vulnerable one?
This painting is by far my most favourite one that I have done. It is about the many versions of who we are.
I painted this watching a time-lapse video by Marcel Witte.
I learnt a lot about painting fur. The trick is not to paint each hair but yet make it look as if you drew every strand.
Who would you rather be? A mighty Lion grabs what he wants and when he wants it. Or the cute, lovable lamb but always at the risk of ending up at someone’s dinner table.
